Job Description:

Lead HR for a sizable FMCG/Pharmaceutical group. Strategic role covering retail, factory & office.

Job Responsibility:

  • Lead and manage the full spectrum of HR functions, including recruitment, C&B, performance management, and employee relations across the Hong Kong office, factory, and retail operations
  • Develop and execute talent management strategies, covering talent sourcing, training, employee engagement, and career planning
  • Design and implement effective HR strategies, policies, and systems to support business goals and drive a high-performance, motivating work environment
  • Ensure all HR policies and practices are fully compliant with Hong Kong and PRC labor laws and market best practices
  • Collaborate closely with the PRC HR team to ensure alignment and effective communication on cross-border initiatives
  • Drive employee retention strategies and lead ad-hoc HR projects as required
  • Occasional travel to the PRC is required

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources Management, Business Administration, or a related discipline
  • A minimum of 12 years of solid HR generalist experience, with at least 5 years at a managerial level
  • Experience from a sizable company in the pharmaceutical, retail, manufacturing, or FMCG sectors is highly preferred
  • In-depth, practical knowledge of Hong Kong & China Labor Law
  • Strong leadership, communication, and people management skills, with the ability to build trust at all levels
  • A positive, detail-minded, and flexible mindset, with strong analytical skills and the ability to meet tight deadlines
  • Able to work independently and under pressure
  • Proficiency in spoken and written Chinese (Cantonese & Mandarin) and English is essential
  • Immediate availability is highly preferred
