Detail-oriented HR Coordinator to join our team in Phoenix, Arizona. In this long-term contract role, you will play a key part in ensuring the smooth operation of human resources processes, including employee records management, benefits administration, and payroll support.
Job Responsibility:
Maintain and update employee records including scanning, uploading, and auditing documents
Respond to employee inquiries regarding HR policies, benefits enrollment, and payroll concerns
Process a high volume of HR transactions with accuracy
Provide support for unemployment claims ensuring compliance
Assist in onboarding new employees including background checks and HRIS data entry
Collaborate on various HR projects and initiatives
Interpret and communicate plan details related to benefits and payroll contributions
Troubleshoot HR-related issues using critical thinking
Ensure compliance with HR policies and procedures
Utilize Microsoft Office applications including Excel and Outlook
Requirements:
High school diploma or equivalent
Additional education in HR or related fields preferred
At least 2 years of customer service experience
Prior HR experience strongly preferred
Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel, Word, and Outlook
Strong verbal communication and active listening skills
Experience with HRIS systems
Strong understanding of HR compliance and onboarding processes
Ability to manage multiple tasks across various systems efficiently
Familiarity with mathematical concepts
Ability to analyze payroll and benefits data
Demonstrated ability to handle sensitive information with discretion and maintain confidentiality
Nice to have:
Additional education in HR or related fields
Prior HR experience
