Job Responsibility:
Implement staff planning strategy at the store level, following principles/guidelines as localized by the Global Matrix Team and country People Planning function
Ensuring adherence to IKEA employment standards, legal, and union requirements related to People Planning in Store
Contribute to the store’s complete staff planning process from forecasting to the execution of the schedule by posting draft schedules timely, ensuring scheduled hours include planned absences and liaising on the development of final schedules with department managers in order to respond to co-workers, customers and business needs
Identify possible improvements in the staff planning process and escalate any potential deviation to the Unit P&C Manager when the scheduled or actual hours exceed the agreed financial framework
Ensure that the store’s people planning process supports developing our talents and enables them to deliver an excellent and personal customer meeting
Collaborate with recruiting manager and Unit P&C Generalist to ensure vacancies are filled with the right contract type, to secure the right preconditions for the co-worker to create a great customer meeting
Requirements:
Educational background in Economics or similar
Good communication skills to relate with different stakeholders and effective interpersonal skills with the ability to build trustful relationships with stakeholders of different seniority levels within the store
Good knowledge of Excel and the ability to manage and analyze data by generating reports
An analytical approach, with data-driven decision-making that you apply to how you resolve problems
The aptitude to renew, improve, and embrace the change exploiting new business and growth opportunities
The ability to take your own initiatives and responsibilities
The flexibility to manage different tasks trying to approach them with different points of view
Ability to communicate confidently and clearly in Italian and English
