Working alongside the HR Business Partner, you will deliver a high‑quality generalist HR service to managers and colleagues across our 240+ pharmacies, ensuring support is aligned with our company values.
Job Responsibility:
Lead the management of the HR&Payroll shared inbox by ensuring a timely response is provided to HR queries from managers and colleagues
Take ownership of day‑to‑day employee relations matters such as maternity
sickness absence
flexible working requests & probation extensions including writing confirmation and follow up letters where appropriate
Ensure full compliance of sponsored‑worker documentation in line with Home Office regulations and carry out routine right‑to‑work compliance checks
Employment relations - Provide advice and support on the disciplinary and grievance process
coordinate and support investigations and formal hearings as part of the grievance and disciplinary process and ensure managers adhere to the defined timelines
Deliver HR Inductions for new starters in the Support Office
Deliver the HR Induction for Trainee Pharmacists and proactively oversee the coordination and timely completion of associated HR & Payroll processes
Long term sickness absence – manage welfare and long-term sick cases by advising managers on the process
follow up on long term sick cases
maintain the necessary documentation relevant to each case and coordinate OH referrals
Design and deliver HR‑related training programmes for operational teams
Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to lead and deliver HR projects, ensuring effective planning and proactive execution
Requirements:
Strong HR advisory experience with proven ability to work with managers at all levels is essential
HR Qualification is essential
Strong IT skills including Excel, databases, Outlook, Word and PowerPoint
Excellent attention to detail and organisational ability
Confident communicator with strong influencing and relationship‑building skills
Team player and ability to work with minimum supervision, use initiative and take complete ownership for tasks
Ability to handle sensitive information in a confidential manner
Ability to work calmly under pressure
Flexible and adaptable
willing to roll sleeves up and get stuck in, not afraid of change
