You will support Residents in a supported accommodation setting and/or the community with their housing needs and life skills in a person-centred, trauma informed way.
Job Responsibility:
Supporting residents with mental health and wellbeing, by encouraging healthy activities and lifestyles, and signposting to services
Assisting with claims for housing and associated benefits to support financial stability
Organising and managing a range of engaging activities to promote social inclusion
Playing a hands-on role in responding to incidents appropriately, contacting and liaising with NWH staff, emergency services, voluntary and statutory agencies
Maintaining accurate service user records and files
Requirements:
Either have the ability to hold at least basic conversations in Welsh or be currently learning / willing to learn Welsh to the required level
Experience working in a client centred environment such as housing, care or similar
Knowledge of the support needs of vulnerable people
Good verbal and written communication skills
Hard working, with a positive ‘can do attitude’
At least have basic IT skills, with knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook
