Job Description:

Ashfield District Council have an exciting opportunity for a Housing Repairs Technician – Heating Engineer to join the team based in Sutton in Ashfield. You will join us on a full time, permanent basis (37 hours per week) and in return, you will receive a competitive salary of £32,061 - £34,434 per annum.

Job Responsibility:

  • Undertake repairs and maintenance work in both tenanted and empty properties
  • Work within customers' homes for the completion of repair and maintenance works

Requirements:

  • Qualified Heating Engineer
  • Appropriate City and Guilds or equivalent qualification
  • Knowledge of general building and construction
  • Friendly and positive outlook
  • Experience of dealing with the public
  • Full valid driving licence
  • Excellent interpersonal skills
