Job Description:

Housekeeping Manager position for pre-opening of Opatija Marriott Resort & Spa. Responsible for daily shift operations of Housekeeping, Recreation/Health Club and Laundry. Directs employees to ensure property guestrooms, public space and employee areas are clean and well maintained. Focuses on guest satisfaction, employee training, and budget management.

Job Responsibility:

Manage daily shift operations of Housekeeping, Recreation/Health Club and Laundry
Direct and work with employees to verify property guestrooms, public space and employee areas are clean and well maintained
Complete inspections and hold people accountable for corrective action
Verify guest room status is communicated to Front Desk
Inspect guestrooms daily
Prepare work assignments
Inventory stock
Support effective inspection program
Manage department budget
Schedule employees
Train new room attendants
Ensure guest and employee satisfaction

Requirements:

High school diploma or GED
2 years experience in housekeeping or related professional area
OR 2-year degree from accredited university in Hotel and Restaurant Management, Hospitality, Business Administration, or related major with no work experience required
