Job Description:

Four Seasons Hotel and Residences New Orleans is seeking candidates to join our Housekeeping team as a Housekeeping Coordinator. Team members in this role assign rooms to the Self-Inspectors/Public Area Attendants and support the overall day-to-day efficiency of the Housekeeping Operation. The Coordinator is responsible for answering all internal and external Housekeeping telephone/e-mail/radio requests. Monitors all HotSOS requests and communicates with multiple departments to ensure completion of all guest/internal requests.

Job Responsibility:

  • Record every telephone/radio call in a log book/database
  • Handle all guest requests for the Laundry/Valet Department
  • Utilize all systems that relate to Housekeeping on a daily basis: Opera, Word, Golden, Excel, HotSOS, REX, and Outlook
  • Assign room assignment boards (Self Inspector Attendants) in REX or Opera
  • Organize the Housekeeping office ensuring files are updated
  • Prepare the room discrepancy report, record any issues in guest experience and rooms and inform the Housekeeping management and Engineering teams to ensure issues are resolved

Requirements:

  • The ability to read, write and speak English
  • The ability to utilize the telephones adhering to Four Seasons standards
  • The ability to expedite any guest requests as quickly as possible and notify Housekeeping management of any glitches
  • The ability to assist Housekeeping management in administrative work as directed
  • The ability to perform other tasks or projects as assigned by hotel management and staff
  • The ability to utilize computer systems such as HotSOS, Opera, Golden, and Microsoft Office Suite
  • Previous experience in Housekeeping preferred, but not required

Nice to have:

The ability to speak Spanish and/or Haitian Creole is a plus, but not required
