Job Description:

Perform housekeeping tasks for public areas and guest rooms in a professional and efficient manner while assisting management with operations and maintaining a high standard of guest service and cleanliness

Job Responsibility:

Ensure cleanliness and conditions of assigned areas meet standards
report maintenance issues
clean and store equipment
respond to guest and colleague requests promptly
assist management in employee-related tasks
follow company policies
maintain confidentiality
protect company assets
welcome and address guest needs professionally
maintain personal appearance standards
support team to reach goals

Requirements:

Use checklists to ensure cleanliness and condition of assigned area meets standards
identify and report maintenance issues
request preventative or non-urgent repairs
contact other departments for urgent repairs
clean, maintain, and store cleaning equipment
document and report outstanding issues
complete required housekeeping paperwork
respond promptly to requests from guests or colleagues
assist management in hiring, training, scheduling, evaluating, counseling, disciplining, and coaching employees
follow safety policies and procedures
store flammable materials properly
develop positive working relationships with colleagues
be physically capable of moving, lifting, and handling objects as required
communicate professionally
interpret written documents
locate work-related information using computers
perform reasonable duties as requested by supervisors

Nice to have:

High school diploma or G.E.D. equivalent
less than 1-year related work experience
