Job Responsibility:
Familiarize with all HR processes and lead new hire onboarding
lead and facilitate brand and management company training to ensure compliance with OSHA and other safety programs
support General Manager in maintaining and ensuring hotel meets brand standards
execute accounts receivable and payable duties
oversee hotel property departments operations
ensure safe working environment compliance
cover front desk shifts as needed
maintain accurate inventory and supply quotas
assist and approve department scheduling
coach and counsel team supervisors and managers
motivate staff to resolve guest issues
focus on guest satisfaction improvements
provide excellent customer service
ensure thorough and timely training and onboarding
assist in proactive hiring and staffing
Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree or high school diploma with relevant experience
at least one year of assistant general manager experience or three years of related experience
front office management experience in relevant hotel segments
computer skills including email communication and spreadsheet use
experience with hotel information systems
excellent interpersonal and leadership skills
ability to maintain compliance with regulatory standards
solid front office management experience in full service, select service, or extended stay properties
computer proficiency including email and spreadsheet management
ability to interact effectively with General Manager, key leaders, corporate staff, and ownership
strategic planning skills combined with hands-on execution
