Job Description:

The Front Desk Supervisor is a hands-on leader that requires a strong knowledge of all aspects of the operation, ensuring complete guest satisfaction. Supports, directs and administers all areas of the Front Desk.

Job Responsibility:

  • Assists in interviews and hiring process for Front Office department associates
  • Participates in training all Front Office associates
  • Has complete understanding of all Front Office staff's job descriptions and duties and is able to perform duties at any given time
  • Has full understanding of hotel reservations system and assists with reservations
  • Checks AM and PM discrepancy reports
  • Communicates with Housekeeping Department regarding guest rooms and requests
  • Communicates with the Engineering Department regarding any maintenance requests from guests
  • Promptly and professionally checks guests in and out of the hotel
  • Knows how and where to post all charges
  • Knows where to find all room rates and company codes
  • Gives directions to hotel facilities, rooms and local area attractions
  • Understands night audit procedures and is comfortable filling this position
  • Follows safety and security procedures and rules

Requirements:

  • Previous Hilton and OnQ operating system experience is a PLUS
  • Strong knowledge of all aspects of the operation
