Job Description:

The Ritz-Carlton in Macau is looking for a Hostess to provide exceptional guest service. Responsibilities include greeting and seating guests, maintaining cleanliness, organizing seating, monitoring safety, and adhering to the company’s service standards. The role involves continuous professional and personal development in a global luxury hospitality environment.

Job Responsibility:

Greet guests and determine the number in their party
Seat guests by finding a clean, available table
Guide guests through the dining rooms and provide needed assistance
Move and arrange tables, chairs, and settings
Organize seating for groups with special needs
Ensure place settings are appropriate
Check menus to ensure they are current, clean, plentiful, and wrinkle-free
Maintain cleanliness of work areas throughout the day
Monitor dining rooms for seating availability, service, safety, and well-being of guests
Follow company safety and security policies
Report accidents, injuries, and unsafe work conditions
Complete safety training and certifications
Welcome and acknowledge all guests according to company standards
Speak with others using clear and professional language
Answer telephones using appropriate etiquette
Develop and maintain positive working relationships
Adhere to quality expectations and standards
Stand, sit, or walk for extended periods
Move, lift, carry, push, pull, and place objects weighing less than or equal to 10 pounds
Perform other reasonable job duties as requested by supervisors

Requirements:

High school diploma or G.E.D. equivalent
No related work experience
No supervisory experience
