Job Description:

Greet guests, seat them at tables, maintain dining room cleanliness and organization, ensure proper place settings, monitor dining room operations, follow safety procedures, and provide excellent guest service at JW Marriott Hotel Mexico City Polanco.

Job Responsibility:

Greet guests and determine the number in their party
Seat guests by finding clean, available tables
Guide guests through dining rooms and provide assistance
Move and arrange tables, chairs, and settings
Ensure place settings are appropriate with napkins, clean silverware
Check menus to ensure they are current, clean, plentiful
Maintain cleanliness of work areas
Monitor dining rooms for seating availability, service, safety
Follow company safety and security policies
Report accidents, injuries, and unsafe conditions
Ensure uniform and personal appearance are clean and professional
Welcome and acknowledge all guests according to company standards
Speak with others using clear professional language
Answer telephones using appropriate etiquette
Develop positive working relationships
Support team to reach common goals
Stand, sit, or walk for extended periods
Lift objects up to 10 pounds

Requirements:

High school diploma or G.E.D. equivalent
No related work experience
No supervisory experience
No license or certification required
