Job Description:

Host/Hostess position at AC Hotel By Marriott San Luis Potosi. Responsibilities include greeting guests, seating arrangements, maintaining dining room cleanliness, and ensuring quality service standards. The role requires attention to detail and excellent guest service skills in a hotel dining environment.

Job Responsibility:

Greet guests and determine party size
Seat guests at clean, available tables
Guide guests through dining rooms
Move and arrange tables, chairs, and settings
Ensure proper place settings with napkins, clean silverware
Check menus for currentness, cleanliness, and condition
Maintain cleanliness of work areas
Monitor dining rooms for seating availability, service, safety
Report accidents, injuries, and unsafe conditions
Ensure uniform and personal appearance are professional
Welcome and acknowledge all guests
Answer telephones using proper etiquette
Develop positive working relationships
Support team to reach common goals
Adhere to quality expectations and standards

Requirements:

High school diploma or G.E.D. equivalent
No related work experience required
No supervisory experience required
No license or certification required
Ability to stand, sit, or walk for extended periods
Ability to move, lift, carry, push, pull, and place objects weighing up to 10 pounds
