A Bachelor degree (or higher) in Psychology, Counselling, or Social Work
Minimum 2 years’ experience providing counselling within family violence, trauma, or related settings
Strong understanding of the impacts of trauma and family violence on adults and children
Proficiency in clinical assessment, treatment planning, and therapeutic intervention delivery
Excellent communication, empathy, and documentation skills
Current Victorian Driver’s Licence

Job Responsibility

Deliver holistic, trauma-informed counselling to adults, children, and young people
Conduct clinical assessments, treatment planning, and evidence-based interventions that promote healing and resilience
Collaborate closely with a multidisciplinary team of Counsellors, Family Violence Practitioners, and Homelessness Practitioners
Support clients in developing coping strategies, self-esteem, and long-term wellbeing
Contribute to a safe, inclusive, and culturally responsive therapeutic environment
