Job Description:

Justteachers is recruiting an experienced Higher Level Teaching Assistant (HLTA) to support KS2 children. This long-term supply role is located in Wisbech and is due to start immediately. You will work closely with the class teacher to deliver targeted lessons, be planned by the teacher. The school is well-regarded for commitment to create equal opportunities for all children and looking after staff wellbeing.

Job Responsibility:

Lead small group and 1:1 sessions for learners who are working below age related expectations
Support teachers with curriculum delivery and pupil assessment
Contribute to behaviour management and classroom organisation
Adapt the learning as required taking into consideration any EHCPs within the class
Promote a positive attitude and welcoming environment

Requirements:

HLTA qualification or equivalent experience
Two education or school-based references
Strong understanding of KS2 curriculum
Be proactive, flexible, and committed to supporting children’s education
Good knowledge of behaviour and classroom management
