HGV Class 1 Driver

• Safely and efficiently operate an HGV Class 1 vehicle while adhering to all relevant legal requirements and regulations
• Carry out pre- and post-delivery vehicle checks to ensure roadworthiness and compliance with company standards
• Plan routes effectively to ensure timely and accurate loading, transportation, and delivery of goods
• Provide exceptional customer service through friendly and professional interactions with clients and representatives
• Take responsibility for accurate completion of delivery paperwork and documentation
• Maintain a clean and organized vehicle, reporting any maintenance or repair needs promptly
• Adhere to company policies and procedures regarding health and safety guidelines at all times

• Possession of a valid HGV Class 1 license is essential
• A Digital Tachograph card and full Driver CPC qualification are required
• Proven experience as an HGV Class 1 Driver, ideally with a minimum of 1 year of driving experience
• A solid understanding of current road transport legislation and regulations
• Excellent communication skills and a customer-focused approach
• Ability to manage time effectively and work under pressure to meet delivery deadlines
• Strong problem-solving abilities and a keen eye for detail
• Flexibility to work varied shifts including weekends, if required
