Robert Half's client in Phoenix, AZ, is seeking a Help Desk Administrator for an onsite contract. The role involves troubleshooting, configuring, installing, monitoring, evaluating, and supporting user break-fix issues, updating/upgrading needs, and improving internal and hosted/subscription software, tools, and systems. The administrator will also build strong relationships with end users, continuously elevate customer service, and assist end users with technical support and training as necessary.
Job Responsibility:
Troubleshoot, configure, install, monitor, evaluate and support user break-fix issues, update/upgrade needs and improve Buesing internal and hosted/subscription software, tools and systems
Build strong relationships with end users, continuously elevate customer service and assist end users with technical support and training as necessary
Build, support and maintain end user workstations, laptops, mobile devices and administer related mobile device management and support
Administer and manage Active Directory and O365 users, computers and mailboxes
Administer and manage operations for all mobile devices including carrier services and related support tools, devices and software
Basic troubleshooting and administration capabilities in LAN/WAN/internet/wireless technologies
Collaborate with IT Team and gather end user feedback for improvements in technology platforms, tools and process/procedures as applicable
Perform any other related duties as assigned by IT Management or business leadership
Requirements:
Associate’s degree in computer science, management information systems or two years of relevant experience with Microsoft Windows server operating systems, Active Directory, Group Policies and TCP/IP
At least two years of experience with Microsoft OS, desktop/server platforms, Active Directory, Office 365 suite
Experience working in construction industry is a plus
Experience as intern, analyst, administrator, customer service or other support directly and primarily working with end users for IT/Technical assistance IT Systems Administrator
Provide reasonable and consistent IT communication to appropriate audience
Capable of creating and updating system documentation, system specifications and training materials guidelines
Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with remote and onsite users
Ability to effectively explain challenging technical concepts to both technical and non-technical staff
Excellent interpersonal skills, including oral and written communication
Demonstrated analytical and problem-solving skills
