Job Description:

Checkr is seeking a Head of Internal Communications to help employees understand the company's vision, goals, and updates. The position involves leading strategic internal and executive communication programs, managing internal communications channels, and supporting leadership meetings. This role requires a strong storyteller who can collaborate cross-functionally, adapt quickly, and scale communication impact using technology.

Job Responsibility:

Develop and execute a strategic internal and executive communications plan
align messaging with the company’s vision, mission, and product positioning
work cross-functionally with Human Resources, Marketing, Product, R&D, and Leadership to execute communication initiatives
produce employee communications delivered across a variety of channels
manage the internal communications editorial calendar and contribute to the intranet
support leadership and company meetings with messaging and program logistics
develop the strategic narrative and thought leadership strategy
ensure consistent narrative representation across all channels
partner with C-Suite on thought leadership and brand evangelism

Requirements:

10+ years of experience writing in a corporate environment
strong executive communications experience with ability to tailor content for specific audiences
comfort working with executives at all levels
ability to utilize AI and other technology solutions to scale communication impact
ability to adapt and change directions quickly
comfort working at a fast pace and meeting tight deadlines
