Job Description:

We're looking for a Growth Marketing Leader to lead our embedded marketing team within Prolific for Research, responsible for building awareness and driving growth throughout the marketing funnel. As the marketing lead within the Research vertical, you'll be responsible for both team leadership and strategic oversight of demand generation initiatives, working closely with the broader Research go-to-market team including sales, customer success, research, and product marketing to ensure aligned execution across the funnel.

Job Responsibility:

  • Build, lead and develop the embedded marketing team supporting Prolific for Research, including hiring, performance management, and career development
  • Own the overall growth strategy and performance for Research offerings, ranging from self-serve PLG tactics to ABM-led enterprise growth
  • Champion new demand tactics and technologies, building a culture of experimentation and learning
  • Own team budget and performance metrics (MQLs, SALs, pipeline contribution, ROI) with clear accountability frameworks
  • Design and oversee the delivery of campaigns across customer touch points — tailoring messaging and content to key use cases, personas and buying stages.
  • Coordinate with other marketing teams to bring relevant content, online&offline experiences, and lifecycle marketing into your demand playbook
  • Build the Research brand identity - bringing strong vertical-specific opinions while collaborating with central teams to ensure brand cohesion and secure resources
  • In collaboration with our product marketing and GTM teams, deeply understand the opportunities in customer journey, segmentation, and market trends, to drive growth in new markets
  • Serve as the marketing leader within the Research vertical senior leadership team and communicate progress clearly and frequently with internal stakeholders

Requirements:

  • Proven leadership experience building and developing marketing teams
  • Strategic ABM expertise - experience designing and overseeing B2B demand generation and ABM programs, ideally in academic or user/market research or adjacent spaces
  • Channel ownership - Strong grasp of growth levers across paid media, intent data, outbound orchestration, conversion optimization, and lifecycle marketing
  • Team orchestration skills - ability to coordinate cross-functional resources, manage stakeholder expectations, and drive results through influence and collaboration
  • Executive communication capabilities - comfortable presenting to senior leadership, translating complex performance data into actionable insights and strategic recommendations
  • Player/coach mindset - able to set vision and strategy while setting a high bar for execution, both by directly owning projects and guiding your team’s output
  • Data-driven leadership approach - setting team KPIs, establishing performance frameworks, and using insights to drive team strategy and individual development
  • Ship to learn - Experience operating in fast-paced, ambiguous environments where you can balance team stability with rapid experimentation and iteration
