The Head of Global India Strategy plays a critical role in driving growth among the wealthiest Indian and non-resident Indian clients. This includes creating strategies, managing cross-border solutions, business development, and building a high-performing team to deliver Citi’s world-class services.
Job Responsibility:
Defining and executing the regional strategy for the Global Indian client segment
Building the team to support the strategy
Representing the strategy to relevant stakeholders and partners
Supporting the delivery of 'One Citi' by connecting clients to the full breadth of Citi’s global offering
Developing and maintaining a deep understanding of clients’ businesses, sources of wealth, and family dynamics to support bankers
Supporting client onboarding and ongoing relationship management
Partnering with Market Executives and Bankers to manage the prospect pipeline, track business activity, and ensure timely progression of client opportunities
Coordinating cross-border engagement and solution delivery
Developing tailored client solutions across investments, financing, wealth planning, and risk management
Promoting knowledge sharing and development of junior team members
Supporting strategic hiring plans
Requirements:
Extensive experience of serving this client community as a relationship manager
Proven experience in UHNW Private Banking or the institutional / corporate banking market, specifically covering the Indian / non-resident Indian market
Demonstrated track record in relationship acquisition
Proven success in building a new business, prospecting for new clients and business, identifying new business opportunities and closing transactions
Extensive experience in building and managing high-performing teams
Experience in working on teams and influencing diverse resources and stakeholders

Proven success in business development, with a strong track record of driving growth and cultivating high-value client relationships
In-depth knowledge of the Indian regulatory landscape, with the ability to navigate complex cross-border frameworks and compliance requirements
Creative and forward-thinking, with the ability to develop innovative client solutions and strategies
Highly organised and adaptable, with strong multitasking skills and the ability to effectively prioritise in fast-paced environments
Strong risk and compliance awareness, ensuring all activities align with regulatory standards and internal policies
