Job Description:

The Head of Finance EU will oversee all financial operations across the European Business Unit, ensuring robust financial planning, analysis, reporting, and risk management. This strategic leadership role is critical to driving financial performance and supporting the company’s growth objectives in the renewable energy sector.

Job Responsibility:

  • Develop and implement financial strategies to optimize performance and support business growth
  • Lead budgeting, forecasting, and financial modelling for the EU Business Unit
  • Implement robust controlling processes to monitor financial performance
  • Identify and mitigate financial risks across projects and markets
  • Build and maintain relationships with banks, advisors, and external stakeholders
  • Work closely with corporate teams and country-level finance teams to align financial objectives
  • Establish and lead a high-performing finance team within the EU BU
  • Drive innovation and continuous improvement within finance processes and systems

Requirements:

  • Master’s degree in Finance or related field
  • 10–15 years experience in finance with at least 5 years in a leadership role
  • Experience in the renewable energy industry is essential
  • Ability to shape and drive the financial vision of the organization by aligning financial strategies with overall business objectives
  • Competence to manage complex projects and drive transformation
  • Ability to generate creative solutions for financial challenges and implement best practices to enhance efficiency
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities paired with excellent communication and intercultural collaboration skills
  • Relevant finance or accounting certifications preferred
  • Proficiency in English language
