A well-known consumer electronics company based in Irvine, CA is seeking a Head of Content and Creative to oversee and elevate our overall creative and content strategy, shape the brand's storytelling, and drive creative excellence across all categories. This role oversees the full creative ecosystem, including brand identity, key visuals, campaign direction, digital content systems, and cross-functional creative strategies that support go-to-market plans. You will guide a high-performing team of designers, writers, editors, creators, and production partners to deliver world-class content across retail, digital, social, and brand touchpoints.

Job Responsibility:

  • Define and maintain a clear creative vision across all product categories
  • Develop narrative frameworks that unify branding, digital, retail, PR, and social storytelling
  • Create emotionally resonant stories based on product truth, consumer insights, and category positioning
  • Lead the development of key visuals, campaign direction, and creative assets for major launches
  • Build cross-category content system to support consistent, modular, and scalable storytelling
  • Establish creative playbooks for PDP, A+, video, social, retail demos, events, and campaign toolkits
  • Oversee development of complete content kits for product launches with clear guidelines and deliverables
  • Ensure content is optimized for digital performance, conversion, and retail readiness
  • Lead and mentor a multi-disciplinary team of designers, writers, editors, photographers, and creators
  • Drive high creative standards and push innovative thinking across all content formats
  • Strengthen visual and verbal identity systems to support brand growth
  • Manage external creative partners, agencies, production houses, and creators
  • Partner with Product Marketing to translate strategy into clear creative narratives
  • Collaborate with Integrated Marketing Communications to align creative with go-to-market phases
  • Work with Digital, Retail.com, and Retail Activation teams to deliver impactful, conversion-driven content
  • Align with Brand Marketing to ensure cultural relevance and amplification
  • Collaborate with Product Intelligence to build AI-ready content workflows and templates

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in design, marketing, communications, film, visual arts, or a related field
  • 5 years of creative leadership experience in consumer electronics, global tech, entertainment, gaming, or agency environments
  • Strong portfolio demonstrating brand-level creative, key visuals, campaigns, video, retail experiences, and multi-channel content programs
  • Experience building or leading creative/content studios, scalable content systems, or narrative frameworks
  • Proven ability to lead creative across digital, retail, social, brand, and in-store channels
  • Experience producing content for retail.com, including PDP and A+ assets
  • Strong understanding of creative performance, consumer insights, and conversion metrics
  • Skilled in creative direction, storytelling, design fundamentals, copywriting, and narrative architecture
  • Strong leadership skills with experience motivating and developing creative teams
  • Ability to collaborate closely with executive leadership and influence cross-functional decisions
  • Strong operational discipline, including systems, workflows, templates, and process management
