Job Description:

The Head of Accounting will play a critical role in overseeing the financial operations related to our condo property management activities. This includes maintaining accurate financial records, preparing financial reports, assisting with budgeting and forecasting, and ensuring compliance with all relevant regulations.

Job Responsibility:

  • Oversee daily accounting operations related to property management
  • Prepare and review monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements and reports
  • Assist in the development and implementation of financial policies and procedures
  • Manage the annual budget preparation process
  • Conduct regular reconciliations of bank accounts, tenant ledgers, and other key financial accounts
  • Collaborate with property managers to ensure accurate and timely rent collections, lease accounting, and expense reporting
  • Monitor cash flow and manage liquidity
  • Assist with internal and external audits
  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of relevant accounting standards, regulations, and best practices

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
  • CPA or CMA certification a plus, but not required
  • Minimum of 5 years of accounting experience within property management or real estate environment
