The Inn at Shipley is seeking an experienced and talented Head Chef to join our culinary team. We are a wonderfully atmospheric pub and place to eat, dating from 1771. We pride ourselves on offering fresh, vibrant dishes which our team of chefs change regularly to reflect the seasons. You will be part of Brunning and Price, a family of 79 pubs where individuality, personality and diversity are encouraged.
Job Responsibility:
Play a pivotal role in menu development, kitchen management, and maintaining the highest standards of food quality and presentation
Responsible for the food culture within the pub
Work closely with the pub manager to drive the business forward
Help to formulate seasonal menus with Executive Chefs
Requirements:
Experience of being a head chef, chef manager, kitchen manager or senior sous chef in a busy, premium fresh food environment
Excellent business acumen to manage a well-run kitchen, keeping on top of stock, GPs and labour controls
Confident leader who will nurture their team and create an inclusive and supportive environment
