Job Description:

Amazon internships across all seasons are full-time positions, and interns should expect to work in office, Monday-Friday, up to 40 hours per week typically between 8am-5pm. Specific team norms around working hours will be communicated by your manager. Interns should not have conflicts such as classes or other employment during the Amazon work-day. You will be part of a project team you will work alongside Senior Electrical Engineers; supporting the design, debug, validation and optimization of the products. You will be involved in projects from concept through production, gaining exposure to the complete design lifecycle. You will also support engineering builds gaining experience with high volume manufacturing.

Job Responsibility:

  • Develop quality control plans, MSAs, and statistical process control systems
  • Perform data analysis using Lean Six Sigma methodologies and analytical tools
  • Support continuous improvement initiatives and manufacturing execution systems
  • Conduct fixture and tooling design validation and debug activities

Requirements:

  • Are 18 years of age or older
  • Work 40 hours/week minimum and commit to 12 week internship maximum
  • Are enrolled in a academic program that is physically located in the United States
  • Knowledge of analog and digital skills
  • Knowledge of schematic design and debug skills
  • Experience with embedded systems
  • Currently working towards a Bachelor’s or Master's Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Systems Engineering, or other equivalent discipline, with an expected conferral date between October 2026 – December 2029

Nice to have:

  • Experience that includes strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and effective communication abilities
  • Experience in manufacturing, process, or industrial engineering
  • Experience with lean methodologies
