Job Description:

Guest Services Agent position at Gaylord Texan Resort & Convention Center processing guest check-ins/check-outs, handling payments, coordinating with housekeeping, operating telephone systems, and providing exceptional guest service according to Marriott standards.

Job Responsibility:

Process all guest check-ins and check-outs
Secure payment
activate/reissue room keys
Ensure rates match market codes
Verify/adjust billing for guests
Coordinate with Housekeeping to track room status
Operate telephone switchboard station
Run and check daily reports
Answer, record, and process all guest calls, requests, questions, or concerns
Arrange transportation for guests/visitors
Count and secure bank at beginning and end of shift
Cash guests' checks, process all payment types
Notify Loss Prevention/Security of any reports of theft

Requirements:

High school diploma or G.E.D. equivalent
No related work experience
No supervisory experience
No license or certification required
