Job Description:

Guest Service Agent position at The Ritz-Carlton Hong Kong, responsible for providing exceptional luxury service, greeting and assisting guests, handling luggage, providing directions and transportation arrangements, and maintaining the Gold Standards of The Ritz-Carlton brand.

Job Responsibility:

Greet and escort guests to rooms
Open doors and assist guests/visitors
Inform guests of property amenities, services, and hours
Explain room features to guests
Transport guest luggage to and from rooms
Assist with luggage storage and retrieval
Assist guests in and out of vehicles
Supply guests with directions
Arrange transportation for guests
Communicate parking procedures
Report accidents, injuries, and unsafe conditions
Maintain awareness of undesirable persons
Ensure uniform and appearance are professional
Maintain confidentiality
Welcome and acknowledge all guests
Anticipate and address guests' service needs
Assist individuals with disabilities
Thank guests with genuine appreciation
Answer telephones using appropriate etiquette
Develop positive working relationships
Comply with quality assurance standards

Requirements:

High school diploma or G.E.D. equivalent
No related work experience
No supervisory experience
No license or certification required
Ability to read and visually verify information in various formats
Physical ability to move at required speed (run, walk, jog)
Stand, sit, or walk for extended periods
Move, lift, carry, push, pull objects up to 50 pounds without assistance
Move over sloping, uneven, or slippery surfaces
Move up and down stairs/service ramps
Reach overhead and below knees, including bending, twisting, pulling, and stooping
