The Guest Experience Liaison (Bell Person) is the first and lasting impression for world travelers at The Joseph, a Luxury Collection Hotel in Nashville. The role focuses on welcoming guests, providing detailed orientations, fulfilling requests, and building connections to ensure a memorable experience in a luxury environment.
Job Responsibility:
Welcome every guest to the hotel with a smile
Act as an ambassador of the hotel
Take care of guests with a sense of urgency
Arrange transportation
Deliver on guest requests
Make reservations
Maintain an inviting presence
Provide a detailed orientation of the hotel including artwork, outlets, amenities, and guest room upon arrival
Serve as the personal liaison between the guest and the hotel to ensure expectations are met and exceeded (e.g., restaurant reservations, laundry, shoeshine)
Assist the concierge in handling mail and facsimiles
Provide guests with information regarding hotel facilities and local attractions
Hold conversations and build lasting connections
Requirements:
Experience working in a luxury hotel as a concierge, bellperson, or doorperson
Professional, pleasant, and approachable demeanor
Pride in a well-groomed appearance
Ability to work in an experiential luxury environment
Passion for making a difference and providing exceptional service
