Job Description:

The company is looking for a nearly/newly qualified actuary with previous actuarial reporting experience to join a dynamic and growing actuarial team

Job Responsibility:

  • Support delivery of the quarterly statutory reserves and Economic Balance Sheet (EBS) solvency position of the Group
  • Support the production of the Group actuarial management information
  • Support production of the year end actuarial reports as well as contribution to other regulatory submissions to the Bermuda Monetary Authority (BMA) e.g. Capital & Solvency Return, Group Financial Condition Report and the Financial Statements
  • Key support role in the production of the Group business plan and solvency self-assessment actuarial projections

Requirements:

  • Newly or nearly qualified Actuary (IFoA or equivalent)
  • A proven track record in actuarial reporting
  • Experience of Solvency II and/or Bermudan EBS capital regimes essential
  • Familiarity with scenario based approach or similar asset liability matching concepts e.g. matching adjustment
