Job Description:

As the Group Head of HR, you will serve as a strategic HR leader and trusted advisor to the CEO and Senior Leadership, driving the organization's human capital agenda. You will be the primary architect of a future-ready, agile workforce by developing and implementing a compelling People strategy that aligns with the organization's vision, mission, and strategies. This role is critical in shaping the organizational culture and resolving complex people challenges through data-driven and evidence-informed practices. You will also lead the transformation of the HR team, building capabilities for operational excellence and strategic business partnering.

Job Responsibility:

  • Set Direction and Strategy: Develop and execute HR strategies, roadmaps, policies, and programs
  • Strategic Advising: Collaborate with senior management to identify HR priorities, provide sound advice on all employee-related matters
  • Future-Ready Workforce: Lead strategic workforce planning initiatives, anticipating future talent needs
  • Talent Strategy: Collaborate with Senior Leadership and the Transformation Office to define and implement strategies for recruitment, selection, and retention
  • Build Capability: Oversee the development of training and programs to enhance employee skills, capabilities, and competencies
  • Pipeline & Framework: Establish a robust talent framework and a strong talent pipeline
  • Sector Support: Drive initiatives to build an alternative workforce to meet the sector's manpower needs
  • Total Rewards Strategy: Develop and implement a total rewards strategy for the sector
  • Market Competitiveness: Review sector salary guidelines to ensure market competitiveness
  • Data-Driven Decisions: Utilise HR analytics and evidence-based practices to drive people and organisational outcomes
  • Funding Maximisation: Ensure the organization effectively taps into and maximizes the various funding opportunities
  • Policy & Governance: Review, develop, and maintain all HR policies, procedures, and practices
  • Compliance: Ensure unwavering compliance with all labour laws, regulations, and company policies
  • Culture & Environment: Address employee concerns, conflicts, and grievances, mediating disputes and enforcing policies
  • Change Agent: Serve as a forward-looking Change Agent, leading the transformation of the organization
  • HR Team Leadership: Lead, manage, and mentor the HR team
  • Expert Coaching: Provide coaching and support to managers on critical HR matters
  • Industry Expertise: Maintain in-depth knowledge of trends, best practices, regulatory changes, and new technologies in the HR sector

Requirements:

  • Minimum 12 years of progressive HR experience
  • At least 8 years in a management role leading and developing a team of HR generalists and specialists
  • Bachelor's or master's degree, preferably in Human Resources or Social Sciences
  • Solid experience and knowledge of employment laws, organisational development, change management, business partnering, and HRIS
  • Coaching qualifications are a plus
