We’re looking for a Group Consolidation Manager to help shape our global financial reporting infrastructure. This is a high-impact role for someone who thrives on data, ownership, and continuous improvement. You’ll be the team member leading the preparation and evolution of our consolidated financial reporting, with a strong focus on automation, tooling, and operational excellence. You’ll partner closely with stakeholders across Finance, Tax, and Treasury, translating IFRS complexity into scalable, efficient accounting operations. The ideal candidate will bring over 10 years of progressive experience, preferably within the financial industry, and will be adept at navigating evolving business requirements.

Job Responsibility:

  • Be the team member leading the consolidation and closing process of the Group, ensuring accuracy, timeliness, and compliance with relevant accounting standards (IFRS/Dutch GAAP)
  • Lead the functional aspect of upgrading our consolidation tool and overall consolidation process
  • Drive the continuous improvement of the consolidation and closing tools, including changes to reflect evolving business requirements
  • Operationalise complex IFRS and Dutch GAAP accounting topics (e.g. deferred tax, share based payments, equity accounting)
  • Apply a data-driven approach to identify areas for process automation, standardization, and reporting efficiency
  • Partner with cross-functional teams to align inputs and outputs across systems
  • Mentor and train team members, contribute to a high-performance finance culture

Requirements:

  • Academic degree in Accounting, Economics, Finance or a related field
  • 10+ years’ experience in financial reporting and control, including leading the consolidation and closing activities
  • Strong technical accounting knowledge, with a solid understanding of consolidation (intercompany eliminations, FX, equity accounting, etc.) and the overall financial close process
  • Affinity with consolidation tools and ERP systems, with the ability to learn and adapt to new financial technologies quickly
  • Ability to understand and investigate complex topics
  • Solid IFRS and Dutch GAAP background, particularly in consolidation, direct tax and share based payments
  • Data-driven mindset with a focus on automation and continuous improvement
  • Excellent communication skills in English, and the ability to operate in a fast-paced, collaborative environment

  • Experience with tax accounting is a plus
  • Other IFRS topic knowledge is welcomed
