Job Description:

As a Graphic Communicator at IKEA Marketing & Communication AB, you’ll create visual communication solutions, collaborating with stakeholders to ensure clear and customer-friendly designs. This role involves producing graphics, layouts, and visuals within established frameworks, while using design to improve everyday moments for customers.

Job Responsibility:

Create, produce and secure customer-friendly communication solutions
Work closely with stakeholders across IKEA to translate needs and insights into clear, consistent visuals
Use design and communication to make everyday moments easier
Visualize information and ideas in a clear and pedagogical way
Find customer-friendly communication solutions
Develop and improve surroundings
Learn and share knowledge with colleagues

Requirements:

University degree within the field of Technical Communication and Visualization or equivalent experience with a deep understanding of design principles, such as layout, typography, and composition
Strong understanding of branding with the ability to create effectively within established guidelines and frameworks
Extensive experience in creating graphics and layouts in Adobe Creative Suite such as Illustrator and InDesign
Ability to express complex ideas simply and effectively in English (written and spoken)
Experience from product related communication/construction/illustrations/packaging
Basic knowledge of 3D tools such as Solid Works, Composer & 3D Studio Max
Ability to build strong working relationships while co-creating and collaborating with colleagues across the organization
Previous experience with the IKEA brand is a plus
