Graphic Communication Assistant

• Use graphic communication competence to strengthen the uniqueness and consistency of the IKEA identity in store communication
• Plan, implement and evaluate store communication to ensure that it conveys the benefits of the IKEA Concept
• Respect routines and responsibilities, work together with the stakeholders in the store
• Stay up to date with knowledge about home furnishing, communication and retail design trends
• Engage in physical work and managing and prioritising your workload, utilising various equipment such as a laser printer and vinyl cutter

• Education in graphic communication design, media and typography
• Computer proficient with knowledge and experience of using graphic design software (Adobe Creative Suite) and production tools
• Experience with Adobe Premiere Pro is beneficial, but not essential
• Excited about home furnishings, design and how people live
• Ability to generate new ideas to inspire our customers
• Proven ability to prioritise and organise your workload
• Clear communication with the ability to explain concepts verbally and with visual interpretation
• Practical hands-on approach, feeling at ease working with various hand tools and comfortable working at heights
