We are looking for a dedicated Grants Coordinator to join our team in Santa Barbara, California. In this long-term contract role, you will play a key part in managing client intake, reviewing applications, and ensuring efficient grant processing. This position requires exceptional organizational and communication skills, as well as the ability to handle a high volume workload while maintaining accuracy and professionalism.
Job Responsibility:
Conduct initial client intake and eligibility screenings while offering referrals to community resources
Review grant applications thoroughly and collect all required documentation
Maintain consistent communication with partner case managers to ensure effective collaboration
Assist in organizing and facilitating partner training sessions and informational meetings
Accurately enter and manage client data while safeguarding confidential records
Prepare detailed reports on program activities and outcomes for internal and external stakeholders
Identify and recommend improvements to processes and best practices for program efficiency
Provide administrative support to ensure seamless coordination of grant-related activities
Requirements:
Bachelor’s or Associate’s degree required
Proficiency in both Spanish and English is essential
Strong customer service skills and financial acumen are necessary
Exceptional writing abilities, organizational skills, and attention to detail
Capability to handle high-volume workloads while remaining composed under pressure
Experience with technical systems and database management
Ability to manage confidential information with discretion and professionalism
At least one year of relevant experience in administrative assistance or grant management
