Job Description:

A ‘Good’ graded Primary School in Southwark is seeking a Graduate Teaching Assistant for a long-term, full-time role starting in September 2025. Working closely with class teachers, you'll support students aged 4-11 years, including those with SEND/SEMH needs. This role offers a fantastic opportunity to gain field-based experience for future career paths.

Job Responsibility:

Working with students aged 4-11 years in and out of lessons
helping the class teacher to deliver lessons, set targets and manage behaviour
supporting pupils with SEND/SEMH needs including ASD, ADHD, SpLD and more on a 1:1 and small group basis

Requirements:

Recent graduate with strong academics
ability to support students aged 4-11 years in and out of lessons
assisting class teachers
experience or willingness to work with SEND/SEMH needs including ASD, ADHD, SpLD and more
full-time availability for term-time work
readiness to start in September 2025
