Job Description:

Locum GP Practice-Based Pharmacist – Shrewsbury | August Start. Are you a skilled GP Practice-Based Pharmacist seeking your next rewarding locum role? A well-regarded GP surgery in Shrewsbury is looking for a committed Independent Prescriber to support their clinical team from August onwards. If you’re enthusiastic about enhancing patient care in a primary care environment, this opportunity could be a perfect match.

Job Responsibility:

Conduct in-depth medication reviews and support medicines optimisation
Deliver care for patients with long-term conditions in line with clinical guidance
Prescribe effectively as an Independent Prescriber
Collaborate with GPs, nurses, and allied professionals to ensure joined-up care
Keep accurate, detailed records in patient notes

Requirements:

GPhC-registered Pharmacist
Independent Prescriber status (essential)
Minimum of 1 year’s experience in general practice or primary care
Strong clinical knowledge and confident decision-making
Ability to work autonomously and within a team
