Registered with the General Pharmaceutical Council (GPhC) as a Pharmacy Technician
Previous GP practice or PCN experience highly desirable
Proficient with clinical IT systems (EMIS experience preferred)
Strong attention to detail, excellent communication, and problem-solving skills

Job Responsibility

Support safe, effective, and efficient use of medicines across the practice and wider PCN
Carry out medication reviews and medication reconciliations post-discharge or following changes from secondary care
Manage repeat prescription requests, ensuring compliance with protocols
Provide medication-related advice to patients, GPs, nurses, and other healthcare professionals
Optimise repeat dispensing systems to improve patient access and reduce GP workload
Assist with clinical audits and medicines safety initiatives
Monitor and manage high-risk medication processes and ensure QOF compliance
Update patient records accurately using GP clinical systems (e.g., EMIS)
