The Governance Risk Analyst role is within the CAO Business Strategy Execution risk group responsible for accomplishing results through the coordination of governance, regulatory affairs and engagement activities with the BIR Segments, Portfolio Management and Business execution teams. The team drives the overall BIR Governance Strategy Execution activities, these tasks may include managing or addressing regulatory/Internal Audit issues, structuring processes supporting governance, regulatory affairs for the BIR organization, support portfolio management requirements as needed and drive execution of project management activities.
Job Responsibility:
Coordinate and support delivery of various governance committees and regulatory requirements for BIR exams
Interact with senior management and external stakeholders
Intensive cooperation with global teams of governance, portfolio management, industry and sectors SMEs
Ensure consistent agenda and contents presented to governance committees adhere to Governance Policy and Regulatory Reporting requirements
Build and maintain a governance framework across BIR
Ensure strong oversight and standardization across wholesale credit risk segments governance forums
Establish schedule of Governance Committee meetings
Facilitate agenda setting and prepare Governance Committee minutes
Coordinate preparation of meeting materials
Maintain and store applicable documentation according to Records Management Policy
Track attendance of Governance Committee members
Maintain robust control of action items, escalation and follow ups
Serve as coordinator with other internal and external engagement
Support other BIR CAO areas as needed
Assess risk when making business decisions
Drive compliance with applicable laws, rules and regulations
Requirements:
6-10 years of experience in a financial services role
Demonstrated experience in an equivalent/similar firm, working in global and complex settings with multiple stakeholders
Strong Knowledge of the financial services industry particularly wholesale credit risk, including counterparty risk, leverage finance
Demonstrated experience on coordinating governance committees, regulatory requirements and key materials for senior stakeholders
Proven ability to work in a team of diverse skill sets and cultures
Proven ability to work in high-pressure, time-sensitive environments
Consistently demonstrates clear and concise written and verbal communication skills
Bachelor's Degree/University degree or equivalent experience
