Job Description:

Go/Java Software Engineer position at Citi focused on building tools to keep software supply chain secure. The role involves working with modern programming languages, cloud technologies, and security practices to help development teams build business solutions securely.

Job Responsibility:

Building and improving tools that keep software supply chain secure
Learning and applying modern software development ideas with focus on security
Working with development teams to bake security into everything they do
Exploring latest trends and technologies in software supply chain security
Creating solutions that are safe, reliable, and can handle many users

Requirements:

Passionate software engineer with good grasp of building reliable code
Familiar with cloud-native apps and modern CI/CD tools
Experience in an agile team using modern programming languages
Familiarity with Go or Java/Spring Boot
Exposure to or keen to learn about implementing cloud/containerized applications using tools like Docker, Kubernetes, RedHat OpenShift, AWS, Azure, or GCP
Basic understanding of microservices, REST APIs, and message systems like Kafka
Team player and innovator who loves working with others on scalable systems

Nice to have:

Experience with Go programming language
Experience with DevSecOps and SRE practices
Interest in software supply chain security
Eagerness to learn new technologies and stay up-to-date with latest trends
