Job Description:

GM Finance India will play a critical role to steer business to sharp path of growth leading the India FP&A and Accounts for India business to drive top line growth, improve margins and improve cash flow. The incumbent will also be responsible for accurate & on time long range plans (LRP), budgeting & forecasting (LE-Latest Estimates – Every Quarter), pricing of new & existing projects/products and review of financial performance & profitability for each therapy area. To be responsible for presenting management report on projection & variance in revenue, operating cost and Income.

Job Responsibility:

  • Responsible for accurate & on time long range plans (LRP), budgeting & forecasting (LE-Latest Estimates – Every Quarter), pricing of new & existing projects/products and review of financial performance & profitability for each therapy area
  • Responsible for presenting management report on projection & variance in revenue, operating cost and Income
  • Ensure month end and year end closing for the business and reporting on the corporate department overheads
  • Fixed Assets and Current Assets: Capitalise FA and control Current assets as per corporate guidelines (Balance confirmation and physical verifications)
  • Verify and ensure timely payments (Vendors, Salary – Including incentives and Compliance etc)
  • Lead from Finance side to clear Internal and external Audits
  • Circulate Daily & monthly Dashboard and MIS for the India business
  • Indent / PO approval as per DOA and SOP
  • Maintain and clean the ERP masters (Vendors, customers, SKus , pricing etc)
  • Finance Lead Balance scorecard for India business, Business cases for NPS launches, Draft incentive schemes, Cycle meeting and National sales meet etc
  • Ensure proper bank reconciliation and ensure balance tallying in the ban statements with the books of accounts
  • Lead and liaise with India corporate accounting team for any accounting, compliance (Direct tax, indirect tax and others) and cash request related matters

Requirements:

  • 15 years of experience
  • Experience in monthly and annual closing, accounts finalisation as per IND AS, budgeting and MIS
  • Experience with business cases for NPDs, AR and AP management
  • Knowledge of compliance and controls as per SOP and DOA (Internal and external Audits)
  • Experience in improving and developing Performance review decks, ensuring correct profitability for each therapy area, developing and implementing review templates for board deck and other monthly reviews
  • Experience in presentations on financial health of the business and expenses budget v/s actual for all departments
  • Experience in Long Range Strategy Plan, Annual Budget and Quarterly forecasting for all departments
  • Experience in control and reporting of Variance Analysis - Budget v/s Actual and LE v/s actual for all departments
  • Experience in building and implementing finance dashboards and supporting cross functional team on ERP implementation and improvements
  • Experience in forward forecasting and Predictive analytics on risk and opportunities
  • Experience in cash forecasting every month for all distributors and raising cash request to HO finance team
  • Experience as Budget Controller to all expense head and all departments for India entity
  • Experience in supporting cross functional team on benchmarking and cost reduction projects
  • Experience in ad hoc analysis
  • Experience in ensuring month end and year end closing for the business and reporting on corporate department overheads
