Job Description:

The Global Contract Remediation Lawyer will be responsible for supporting the Technology, Operations, & Privacy Legal team in advising the bank on legal and regulatory matters related to technology, including operational resilience, fintech, cybersecurity, and emerging technologies which require changes to contractual requirements and in some cases requires working with vendors to amend contracts on a global basis.

Job Responsibility:

Supporting the Technology, Operations, & Privacy Legal team in advising the bank on legal and regulatory matters related to technology
Working on operational resilience, fintech, cybersecurity, and emerging technologies requiring changes to contractual requirements
Working with vendors to amend contracts on a global basis
Developing and implementing compliance programs
Contributing to the development of internal policies and training materials

Requirements:

Provide legal counsel and act as SME on technology-related emerging regulatory matters
Monitor and analyze emerging trends in technology regulations
Conduct legal research, interpret regulations, and prepare legal opinions
Draft, review, and negotiate contracts and develop playbooks related to technology services
Collaborate with business units including risk, other Legal teams and Sourcing
Coordinate with Sourcing on remediation projects to address regulatory findings
Represent the bank in interactions with industry bodies and external counsel
Stay informed about industry best practices
Create and conduct trainings for other sourcing and commercial groups
