Job Description:

Gifted and Talented Teaching Assistant role at a leading Bromley Secondary school. The school is graded 'Outstanding' for pupil development, behaviour and staff well-being / development. The role involves working with pupils from lower socioeconomic backgrounds to raise attainment and inspire them. The position starts either ASAP or in September 2025, working 5 days per week (Monday – Friday), school hours, typically 8:30am – 4:00pm.

Job Responsibility:

Raising attainment, inspiring pupils, showing students anything is possible and working with school leaders with pupils from lower socioeconomic backgrounds
Encourage and inspire pupils
Help facilitate a mindset of striving to be the best version of themselves in every pupil

Requirements:

Graduate from a Russell group university – achieving a 1st Class or 2:1 Classification
Strong Academic Track Record – A-Bs at A-Level etc
An intense passion and desire to inspire young people
A deep understanding of challenges pupils face from lower socioeconomic backgrounds
Long-term ambitions to work within education whether that’s: Teaching, Education Policy / Research, Lecturing, Educational Psychology or similar ambitions
Resilience, positivity and a can-do attitude in the face of day-to-day challenges
Personality is VITAL – consider yourself a social butterfly
