As a Geospatial Intelligence Analyst, you will be a key contributor to Defence and Intelligence missions, responsible for transforming ICEYE's world-leading space-based Synthetic Aperture Radar (SAR) data into precise, timely, and actionable intelligence. This role requires bridging imagery intelligence tradecraft and geospatial methodologies to deliver mission-critical operational insights, providing hands-on support for customer exercises, and enabling customer teams to independently utilize ICEYE's space-based capabilities.
Job Responsibility:
Conduct SAR and EO imagery interpretation
Deliver analysis outputs and intelligence reports for defence & intelligence users
Conduct briefings and demonstrations to VIPs and expert audiences alike
Train, and enable customers to independently use ICEYE’s systems and analytical tools
Contribute to ISR product development by implementing new analysis, dissemination. and integration workflows in collaboration with product and engineering teams
Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree or higher in relevant fields (e.g. geography, geoinformatics, military studies)
Strong geospatial foundation
experience in e.g. QGIS, ArcGIS
Ability to operate in a fast-paced operational environment as part of a tightly-nit team in field deployments
Excellent communication, social, and presentation skills
comfortable with diverse and senior audiences
Experience in SAR and EO imagery interpretation or experience in GEONT, IMINT disciplines highly desirable
Comfortable working under pressure, on-site, and during prolonged deployments
Experience in military or defense sectors is strongly preferred
Subject matter expertise in naval, ground or air domains highly desirable
Programming (Python) and utilizing AI/ML frameworks to develop applications
Team player with a good sense of humor
High integrity and resiliency, strong ownership, and continuous learning mindset
Must be able to obtain and maintain a security clearance
Willingness to relocate to Finland and work regularly from the office
Fluent in English
Ability to travel frequently and sometimes on short notice
Geospatial / ISR expertise required
either geospatial or intelligence foundations must be strong
Nice to have:
