Job Description:

Geneva Developer | NYC Hedge Fund | $1,500 per day C2C. I’m partnered with a global hedge fund who are building out their back-office technology team and looking for a Geneva Developer who enjoys working beyond pure configuration or reporting. This will be an initial 6 month rolling contract, ideally C2C but would consider W2. You will play a key role in supporting and extending the firm’s Geneva ecosystem, working closely with accounting, tax, and other back-office stakeholders.

Job Responsibility:

  • Supporting accounting users with data, reporting, and Geneva-related queries
  • Working on interfaces into and out of Geneva (transactions, prices, securities, reporting outputs)
  • Extending existing data pipelines rather than building systems from scratch
  • Researching and supporting new security types and accounting treatments
  • Enhancing reporting logic (e.g. accruals, product-specific breakdowns)
  • Collaborating across tax, internal audit, HR, investor relations, and corporate finance when needed

Requirements:

  • 2–4+ years of recent Geneva experience (current, hands-on usage required)
  • Practical experience with Advent RSL (not necessarily expert level)
  • Strong database skills, particularly SQL Server
  • Solid technical background with either Python, or C# / .NET
  • Experience working with Geneva interfaces, data mappings, or downstream reporting
  • Understanding of financial instruments such as swaps and fixed income products
  • 3 days in NYC office required
  • No sponsorship available at this time
