Job Description:

By joining Citi’s Common Platform Engineering team you will help create and run the Generative AI platform for Citi. This role involves large-scale engineering challenges on-premise and on the cloud, encompassing cutting-edge use of LLMs and associated toolchains, and provides the opportunity to work in a startup-like environment within Citi.

Job Responsibility:

Architect and deliver end-to-end LLM solutions – from experimentation to production
Design evaluation frameworks to benchmark LLM performance, safety, and behaviour
Build integration layers connecting LLMs to APIs, middleware, and enterprise systems
Collaborate across teams to drive adoption of modern engineering practices and GenAI tooling

Requirements:

Proven experience as an Engineering Lead, Software Engineering Manager, or similar role
Strong expertise in multiple programming languages (preferably Python, Go, and TypeScript), frameworks, and tools
Have deployed LLM systems to production and understand evaluation, guard-railing, and monitoring
Proven experience with distributed systems, event-driven architectures, container-based micro-services, distributed logs, SQL and NoSQL databases, and DevSecOps
Experience working in a product focused team as opposed to a project focused team is beneficial
