Job Responsibility

Supervise and coordinate all construction activities, ensuring compliance with project objectives, schedules, and budgets
Collaborate with the project manager to ensure adherence to plans, specifications, and deadlines
Optimize work methods to improve team productivity
Ensure compliance with quality standards for materials and work execution
Participate in site meetings and coordinate with subcontractors
Assist the project manager with procurement and purchasing
Regularly monitor progress and quality of work
Manage equipment maintenance (requests, usage, maintenance)
Oversee subcontractors, draft contracts, and approve work statements
Supervise personnel and ensure compliance with laws, regulations, and company policies

Manages the day-to-day work of crafts and subcontractors in field, delegates work through foreman and/or subcontractor representatives
Must work with subcontractors of different cultures and languages
Maintains regular communications with project staff to ensure work complies with drawings, specifications, and schedule
Reviews plans and specifications of job, job budget and estimate with project manager and project superintendent to ensure that quantities, values, manpower requirements and deliveries of various divisions of job are understood
Participates in weekly progress meetings with subcontractors
Assists in preparation of plan at beginning of job, for receiving, storing and handling materials as required
Assists in resolving construction problems (lack of productivity, work interfaces, etc.) as required
Maintains best possible relationship with owner and architectural-engineering firm associated with job
Strives to develop spirit of cooperation and respect between Caddell and representatives of the other partners on the project
