Strategic business leader position at The Westin Changsha East with responsibility for all aspects of property operation, including guest satisfaction, financial performance, and delivering return on investment. Role focuses on implementing service strategies, guiding leadership team development, and building strong community relationships.
Job Responsibility:
Functions as primary strategic business leader of the property
Responsible for all aspects of operation including guest and employee satisfaction, human resources, financial performance, sales and revenue generation
Verifies implementation of service strategy and initiatives
Holds property leadership team accountable for strategy execution
Guides professional development of leadership team
Verifies sales engines are leveraged and initiates proactive sales activities
Builds owner loyalty through proactive communication and delivering business results
Actively involved in local community building relationships with officials, businesses, and customers
Develops business strategies to maximize customer satisfaction and profitability
Works with Sales and Marketing to develop revenue generating strategies
Manages talent development and organizational capability
Analyzes business data to address market conditions
Ensures fair employee treatment and labor relations
Works with Revenue Management on pricing strategies
Manages owner relations and communication
Interacts with guests for feedback and service improvement
Ensures property compliance with legal, safety, and brand standards
Requirements:
2-year degree from an accredited university in Business Administration, Hotel and Restaurant Management, or related major
8 years' experience in management operations, sales and marketing, finance and accounting, or related professional area
OR 4-year bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Hotel and Restaurant Management, or related major
6 years' experience in management operations, sales and marketing, finance and accounting, or related professional area
General Manager experience in limited or full-service property
Ability and willingness to work flexible hours including weekends, holidays and late nights
Property industry work experience demonstrating progressive career growth and pattern of exceptional performance
