Job Description:

General Automotive Technician position at AAMCO Transmissions and Total Car Care in Fayetteville, GA. Responsibilities include diagnosing and repairing various automotive systems, assisting other technicians, and communicating findings. Requires appropriate tools, a valid driver's license, and ASE certifications are preferred.

Job Responsibility:

Diagnose and repair automotive systems-drivetrain, brake and hydraulic, exhaust, primary and/or advanced fuel ignition and electrical, air conditioning and computer systems
Assist other technicians in performing technical activities
Explain problems discovered during vehicle inspection to service writer and technicians
Professionally record findings so that repairs costs are accurately estimated

Requirements:

ASE Certifications preferred
Hold a valid driver’s license
Appropriate Automotive tools necessary for service performed

Nice to have:

Ability to accurately diagnose transmission problems, TCM, PCM, Solenoids, electrical issues a plus
