We are seeking a Google Cloud Platform Engineer to design, implement, and manage scalable, secure, and cost‑efficient solutions on Google Cloud Platform (GCP). The individual will work across cloud infrastructure, automation, CI/CD, security, and monitoring, collaborating closely with engineering and architecture teams to ensure seamless integration of cloud services into enterprise systems. Job Responsibility:
Architect and deploy cloud-native applications and infrastructure on GCP, ensuring scalability, availability, and operational efficiency
Manage and optimise Google Cloud resources, including Compute Engine, GKE, Cloud Storage, networking, BigQuery, Dataproc, and Dataflow
Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines using tools such as Jenkins, Argo CD, GitHub Actions, and Spinnaker, following GitOps principles where applicable
Automate deployments using Terraform, Helm charts, or similar tools to support consistent, repeatable infrastructure provisioning
Implement secure IAM policies, encryption standards, and GCP security best practice across cloud services
Monitor system performance, troubleshoot infrastructure issues, and propose enhancements to improve reliability and efficiency
Collaborate with cross-functional teams including developers, data engineers, and architects to integrate cloud solutions with enterprise applications and workflows
Requirements:
Skilled in key GCP services such as Compute Engine, GKE, BigQuery, Dataproc, Dataflow, and Cloud Composer
Proficient in Python programming and experienced with scripting languages such as Bash
Able to work with Infrastructure-as-Code tools including Terraform and Helm charts
Familiar with CI/CD platforms such as Jenkins, GitHub Actions, and Spinnaker
Knowledgeable in Kubernetes, Docker, and container orchestration principles
Strong understanding of GCP networking concepts and identity management
Hold a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, IT, or a related field
Possess 3–5+ years of relevant cloud engineering experience
Nice to have:
GCP Associate or Professional Cloud Engineer certification is preferred
Exposure to DevOps practices, GitOps workflows, distributed computing frameworks (Apache Beam, Spark), and analytics/warehousing solutions on GCP is a plus
